So glad I found your site! These headbands are incredible. Thankfully, I still had a set of black/whites in my closet, on which I found this website just now and ordered 7 packs! I was down to my last one!!! For some reason I’ve been unable to find this specific headband anywhere around NYC lately, usually a Walgreens would carry it, but I haven’t seen any in well over a year. While BT’s other, more colorful (feminine) options are abundant, this black 10mm model has gone extinct in my region.
I’m an Afrolatin male with really long, thick, coarse, curly hair and they’re the best for holding back my strands when necessary for work, working out, playing sports etc. I rarely use them as headbands, though. I mostly use them as head ties as they’re the ideal length for my long hair (two knots secures my entire mane). Their width is great for gripping onto my locks and holding them in place, and these are the ones without the “no-slip” gel grip in the middle (only ones i can find in NYC stores), which I hate because they yank on your hair. This headband is simply THE best head tie I’ve ever used, and have been using them for years. There was no way I could pass by your site and not leave a good review for the hair accessory that I just cannot live without.
